Today was mostly spent at the NAC. They had their lector installation this morning, and while it was impressive to see that many guys installed as readers, there was no hymn to our Lady of Knock. It is clear SPS has gotten to me because I actually missed it. Monsignor will be so happy. After a leisurely brunch and a very Minnesotan long goodbye, I spent the afternoon reading and returned to the NAC after dinner for the Packer-Cowboys game. It's fun because their seminary covers the whole country, so unlike us where the playoffs tend to rally behind whatever team from the region is going on, they get feisty. They have what we need, a large recreation room, instead of the St. Olaf room, which has become a multipurpose room good for hosting events. Oh well, I have all next semester to convince the administration of it. I did convince them to get new dishes for the floor lounges so there is hope! Tomorrow we have an awesome day lined up starting with mass at the altar of Pope St. John Paul (the Second). Enjoy some unrelated photos!
