St. Peter's before mass
Il Papa
At Epiphany the dates for the next liturgical year are announced.
Luckily the deacon didn't make any mistakes or we would
have to modify the calendar.
The crowd for the Angelus from the room of our house
I was afraid that I am coming down with the cold that has already hit a quarter of the class so I spent the rest of the feast in true Italian style, napping and reading (luckily I felt much better, but I hope it holds). Tomorrow we get to have mass at St. Mary Major where the remnants of the manager are kept as well as St. Jerome is buried, so it will be a very nice compliment to our vist to Bethlehem, where I was very impressed with the original tomb of Jerome. We also have our first classroom session, so hopefully we still remember how to do school after Christmas break.
